Yala Safari Day Tour
Overview
Yala National Park is one of the best places in Sri Lanka to see wildlife in the open. On this day tour you ride in a 4x4 safari jeep with an experienced tracker through dry forest, scrub, lagoons and rocky outcrops, looking for leopards, elephants, sloth bears and many other animals.
We collect you from Weligama or your nearby hotel and drive to the park. The best time to see animals is early morning or late afternoon, so we time the safari for the cooler hours. Sightings are never guaranteed, but every drive is a chance to see something special.
