Mirissa Whale Watching Half Day Tour
Overview
Head out from Mirissa harbour on an early morning boat trip to look for whales in the deep water off the south coast. Mirissa is one of the best places in the world to see blue whales, and the boat also often finds sperm whales, Bryde's whales and pods of dolphins.
The trip takes half a day, so you are back on land by late morning with the rest of the day free for the beach or lunch in Mirissa. We can arrange pickup from Weligama and nearby hotels. Sightings are wild and never guaranteed, but the season from November to April gives you the best chance.
